Why am I getting a DIRECTV bill?

Even if included in your rent, DIRECTV service upgrades (such as premium receivers and package upgrades) are invoiced and paid to DIRECTV. New DIRECTV subscribers are eligible for special receiver discounts.
 

Common DIRECTV charges you may see on your bill:

  1. Additional receiver fees.
  2. Monthly premium service fees (DVR, Whole Home DVR).
  3. Equipment fees may apply if you are not a new DIRECTV customer OR if you are a new DIRECTV subscriber and have exceeded the number of receivers eligible for discount.

Upgrade Fees

  1. Base channel package upgrades.
  2. Premium channels like HBO and Showtime.
  3. NFL Sunday Ticket subscription after trial ends.
  4. International programming.
  5. On Demand paid movies.

DIRECTV Billing Questions

  1. Log in to your DIRECTV account to view and manage billing. Add and remove channels and receivers.
  2. Call DIRECTV customer care (800) 531-5000. The primary customers account number or phone number must be provided to proceed.
  3. Programming, pricing, and offers are subject to change and may vary in certain markets.
